Taking A Break

I'm so sorry that I have not posted in some time but it has been kinda busy around here. I have been preparing myself for the the new GREAT DANE, Yikes. Yes, after 2 years of begging for one we finally gave in and let the 16 year old son get his dream dog. When we went to check these puppies out both the mom and the dad where in the house, and they are as big as a horse. Anyway, I will keep you posted as he does not actually get him until Saturday when he turns 8 weeks.

Here is a card I made using a Mo's Digital Pencil Image. If you have not checked these out you really should. They are all super cute. I can't wait to use more of them. I will admit that I have not used too many digital images yet, but will be using more of them in the future. This image is called "Taking A Break" and I colored him when I was thinking about the new Dane. He is mostly black with white socks and white on his head.

I used papers from the new collection by Fancy Pants Designs called Rusted Sun. The image is layered with the nesties ovals. I distressed all edges of the papers and inked them with Rangers Distress Ink. I then stitched the edges with my sewing machine. I added a couple of butterflies that were punched with the MS punch and embellished with some glitter. I added the flowers by Prima Marketing to the bottom corner.
